A German Family in South Africa

At first it was just a vacation with their three daughters. But the longing for South Africa developed again and again very quickly; for the outstanding wineries, fantastic restaurants, and incredibly beautiful accommodations as well as the stunning nature, the friendly people, and the warmth when it is winter in Germany.
In 2018 they decided to buy a wine farm in Franschhoek, followed by the fantastically beautiful guesthouse in Hout Bay with a view of the Atlantic in 2020. The previous owners had furnished the rooms with attention to detail which they loved. The excelent staff they took over too.
Manuel and Brigitte both have many years of experience in the hotel industry, and their passion has always been hospitality and culinary pleasure. Now that their eldest daughter Annabel is following in their footsteps, everything is being done to make the PURE Guesthouse the perfect HIDEWAY for you, our guests.

Garden and Maintenance
Ernest has been working as a gardener in our guest house since 2019. He does his work with passion and heart and soul. It is important to him to make the best of our garden despite the difficult water conditions. He is also very knowledgeable about the pool and jacuzzi. With his engagement you can enjoy our lovely gardens. Furthermore, he takes care of all matters that are pending and must be dealt with.
